Assistant Development Manager

About the role

Join Expo City Dubai as an Assistant Development Manager, supporting the Development Director in managing a portfolio of innovative, sustainable development projects from concept through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily development activities, working closely with architects, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare design briefs, consultant scopes, RFPs, presentations and development reports.
• Review design proposals, provide feedback, and ensure alignment with project vision, quality and budget.
• Track approvals, authority coordination, and monitor project progress, escalating risks as needed.
• Support value engineering, cost optimisation and the implementation of AI and digital tools for design development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in development, design management or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate or a related field.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary consultants and contractors, preferably in the UAE/Dubai.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
