Assistant Director of Sales – Leisure & MICE

About the role

As Assistant Director of Sales – Leisure & MICE you will develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and room‑night sales targets, set sales and marketing plans, create tactical actions and monitor results across the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business trends and marketing opportunities to improve hotel performance.
• Work closely with each salesperson to maximise personal and team revenue goals.
• Conduct a minimum of five face‑to‑face sales calls per day.
• Analyse the Dubai market, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and sell against them.
• Monitor segment productivity and set targets for Leisure and MICE.
• Actively sell all hotel services through calls, telemarketing, events and trade shows.
• Negotiate and close business to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
• At least four years of hospitality sales and marketing experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of local businesses and market trends in Dubai.
