Assistant Executive Housekeeper – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will oversee daily shift operations for housekeeping, the health club and laundry at Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection resort. The role ensures guest rooms, public areas and employee zones are clean, inspected and maintained while supporting guest satisfaction and budget objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping shift activities, including inspections, inventory control and allocation of work assignments.
• Verify guest‑room status with the Front Desk, communicate check‑out and check‑in lists, and ensure timely room turnover.
• Maintain stock levels of supplies, equipment and uniforms, and guarantee all staff have the resources they need.
• Conduct training for new room attendants, schedule staff according to business demand and monitor attendance.
• Apply disciplinary procedures, recognize employee performance and foster an open, collaborative work environment.
• Handle guest complaints, develop corrective action plans and promote the brand’s service culture.
• Participate in departmental meetings, monitor budget performance and implement cost‑control measures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least two years of housekeeping experience, or an associate degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality or Business Administration (no experience required).
• Ability to lead a team, manage inventory, schedule staff and uphold quality and safety standards.
