Assistant Finance Manager

About the role

The Assistant Finance Manager supports daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate ledger maintenance, reconciliation, and reporting. This role works closely with internal teams and external clients to resolve discrepancies and uphold financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement accounting projects and SOP audits across the property.
• Balance credit card ledgers and verify group contracts with credit checks as needed.
• Generate timely financial reports, presentations, and analysis for management.
• Monitor taxes, ensure proper accruals, and document profit and loss statements accurately.
• Perform period‑end close functions and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Provide guidance on accounting and budgeting policies to other departments.
• Analyze data, resolve discrepancies, and apply write‑off and deposit procedures.
• Assist with collections calls and credit reference checks when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (4‑year) with no experience, or an associate degree (2‑year) with at least 1 year of finance/accounting experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting processes, ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting.
