Assistant Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, cash flow, taxation and internal controls. The role works closely with business stakeholders and Group Finance to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice verification, three‑way matching, billing, collections and reconciliations.
• Coordinate month‑end closing, balance‑sheet reconciliations and timely financial reporting for management and Group/HQ consolidation.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, monitor liquidity, support treasury reporting, intercompany funding and working‑capital management.
• Manage banking activities, payment processing, letters of credit and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor Capex budgets, evaluate investment proposals and prepare rolling forecasts, expenditure reports and variance analysis.
• Prepare and coordinate VAT returns and support transfer‑pricing, intercompany tax compliance and deferred tax reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field; ACCA, CPA or CMA is an advantage.
• 5–8 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, medical or pharmaceutical organisations.
• Strong experience across AP, AR, month‑end closing, financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Hands‑on exposure to cash‑flow forecasting, treasury, banking operations, Capex controlling and budgeting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP or comparable ERP system.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis capabilities.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT, transfer pricing and tax compliance.
• Experience with cash‑flow forecasting, treasury management and banking operations.
