Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

Luxury Collection is hiring an Assistant Front Office Manager in Abu Dhabi. The role covers front desk operations, guest service, cash handling and basic supervision of the front office team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest check-ins: verify identity and payment method, assign rooms, activate and issue keys, and set up accurate guest accounts
• Enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure rates match market codes, documenting exceptions
• Secure payment before issuing keys, verify and adjust billing, and process payments, vouchers, paid-outs and charges
• Balance and drop receipts, count and secure the bank at the start and end of shift, and obtain manual authorizations following accounting procedures
• Compile and review daily reports, logs and contingency lists, and complete cashier and closing reports
• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of guest theft reports
• Train, evaluate, counsel, motivate and coach staff; act as a role model and first point of contact for the Open Door Policy
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist people with disabilities and answer phones professionally
• Follow company policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, complete safety training, and protect company assets and confidential information

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• No license or certification required
