Assistant General Counsel - dnata Airport Operations

About the role

Emirates Group is looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to join its Group Legal team as Assistant General Counsel for dnata Airport Operations. The role provides end‑to‑end legal support for airport‑related commercial contracts, M&A and joint‑venture transactions across a global footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary legal adviser for dnata Airport Operations, delivering commercial contracting support worldwide.
• Lead negotiation, drafting, review and execution of complex service, supplier, outsourcing and strategic commercial agreements.
• Support RFPs, tenders and bid processes, advising on legal risk, compliance and contractual positions.
• Manage M&A and joint‑venture transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and drafting of share purchase, shareholders’ and joint‑venture agreements.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for corporate, M&A, JV and commercial matters within Group Legal.

Required profile

• Qualified commercial lawyer with strong transactional depth.
• Proven experience in complex commercial contracts and M&A activities.
• Ability to operate confidently in a fast‑paced, multinational business environment.
• Excellent legal judgement and strong communication skills.
