Assistant General Manager – Fine Dining Restaurant

About the role

The Assistant General Manager will lead the fine‑dining restaurant Ossiano at Atlantis, The Palm, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive service excellence and daily guest satisfaction.
• Develop a guest database to increase repeat visits.
• Compile and act on guest feedback for continual improvement.
• Lead the outlet, delegating and coaching the management team to meet deadlines and targets.
• Guide the team on upselling and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Recruit, liaise with HR and ensure selection of suitable candidates.
• Maintain awareness of restaurant service standards and support the team in delivering them.
• Act as a brand ambassador, upholding Atlantis Dubai standards.
• Own short‑, mid‑ and long‑term business development, standards, team growth and marketing.
• Build positive professional relationships across the workplace.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years’ experience in a similar fine‑dining role with direct P&L responsibility.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to engage with all management levels.
• Proven influence through knowledge, relationship management and trust.
• Strong conflict‑management ability, sound judgment and decision‑making under pressure.
