Assistant Inventory Controller

About the role

Al Rostamani Group is seeking an Assistant Inventory Controller to support its Emirates Electrical Engineering division. The role focuses on efficient store and inventory management, ensuring accurate SAP transactions, proper material handling, and timely availability of supplies for projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, returns and transfers of materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate SAP MM transactions such as GRNs, material movements, cost bookings, project allocations and fixed‑asset movements.
• Conduct regular physical inventory and fixed‑asset checks, reconcile variances and prepare detailed inventory reports.
• Supervise Store Assistants, Helpers and Forklift Operators, allocating daily activities and ensuring safety, housekeeping and compliance.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Project teams on material, cost, budget and inventory matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or any discipline, or a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic courses.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in storekeeping for electrical or civil contracting companies.
• Relevant logistics or supply‑chain certification courses.
• Strong communication skills.
