Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance, Accounting Advisory

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Accounting and Reporting Advisory practice in the UAE. You will work on a variety of audit, assurance and technical accounting projects, supporting clients across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on IFRS and local GAAP technical issues and prepare high‑quality reports and presentations.
• Develop client proposals, draft scopes of work and project budgets.
• Lead engagements for the preparation of financial statements and accounting policies under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Draft revenue‑recognition and leasing accounting policies for clients.
• Provide training on new accounting standards and their impact on client systems.
• Participate in project planning, strategy development and manage projects locally and internationally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with strong academic credentials.
• 5+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing).
