Assistant Manager – Branch Operations

About the role

Daman is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the operational efficiency and service excellence of its branch network in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering superior health‑insurance services through strong customer‑centric processes, digital adoption, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer enrolment, renewal and query resolution in collaboration with the branch team.
• Oversee walk‑in interactions, ensuring high‑quality service and reduced wait times.
• Drive digital adoption initiatives across the branch network.
• Handle customer complaints, escalating unresolved issues with proper justification.
• Ensure compliance with health‑insurance regulations and internal policies.
• Conduct periodic service‑quality evaluations and report findings to management.
• Supervise daily branch operations, monitoring performance metrics and efficiency goals.
• Support the Customer Happiness Centre in timely feedback and complaint resolution.
• Prepare service reports, analyse trends and recommend improvements.
• Maintain physical and digital documentation securely and ensure adherence to SLAs and regulatory timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5‑7 years of relevant experience, including 2‑3 years in a managerial role working closely with sales.
• UAE driving licence preferred.
