Assistant Manager - Commercial Finance

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager – Commercial Finance to support the commercial finance activities of Dubai Holding Land Estates’ land bank. The role ensures accurate financial information, effective budgeting, and informed decision‑making while identifying and mitigating financial issues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate budget plans and schedules in line with Group policies, working with various departments to prepare annual budgets.
• Act as liaison between department heads and the finance team to gather information for budget development.
• Monitor budget implementation and support recalibrations or forecasts as required by management.
• Review commercial transactions before submission to the management or investment committee, including project launches, contractor appointments and budget approvals.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of budgetary, information system and project‑reporting policies, processes, forms and templates.
• Modify and maintain financial models for budgetary and business analysis, ensuring the accuracy of assumptions.
• Assist in reviewing all land commercial transactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months of relevant finance experience.
• Highly motivated and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Management Information Systems.
• Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with financial software data‑analysis tools.
• Good understanding of real‑estate business accounting matters.
