About the role
The Assistant Manager, Customer Facing Supply Chain will act as the primary point of contact for Nestlé within a customer’s supply‑chain environment in Dubai. The role focuses on ensuring product availability on shelves, managing inventory efficiently, and strengthening the partnership with the customer to drive service excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the customer to understand their operations and ensure Nestlé products are available on shelves.
- Identify and resolve out‑of‑stock and availability issues at stores and distribution centres.
- Review and discuss KPI scorecards with the customer and Nestlé line managers on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Maintain master data, including timely SKU listing, delisting and barcode updates in the customer’s database.
- Analyse demand deviations, re‑forecast using sales and historical trends, and coordinate with demand planners.
- Organise and chair key meetings, challenge assumptions and secure agreement on forecasts.
Required profile
- Minimum A‑level education; degree level preferred.
- 3‑4 years of experience in a supply‑chain function, preferably with exposure to customer service.
- Experience in sales or retail account management is advantageous.
