Assistant Manager – Design (Dubai)

About the role

Dubai Holding Land Estates is seeking an Assistant Manager – Design to lead the review and validation of architectural submissions across its extensive land portfolio. The role supports the delivery of master‑plan projects aligned with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and ensures compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and review all LTS submissions, including new designs, amendments and as‑built drawings.
• Conduct technical assessments against DHLE DCR, guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
• Validate area calculations and confirm alignment with approved development parameters.
• Issue design review reports, NOCs, stamped drawings and rejection letters as required.
• Coordinate meetings with clients, consultants and contractors to clarify comments and resolve issues.
• Prepare design presentations and technical material for management review.
• Ensure all workflows meet SLA requirements with high technical accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Planning, GIS, Infrastructure) and external authorities to expedite NOCs.
• Support continuous improvement of design guidelines and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum five years of experience in architectural design and review.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Innovative mindset with a focus on technology adoption.
