Assistant Manager – Dispute Management (UAE Nationals)

About the role

The Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority is seeking a qualified UAE national to join as an Assistant Manager – Dispute Management. You will play a pivotal role in handling customer disputes, minimizing legal exposure, and preserving strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Implement strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and reduce the need for legal action.
• Identify and manage non‑responsive or defaulting customers, including late payments and dishonoured cheques.
• Develop and execute action plans such as payment arrangements or legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with the Collection Team to mediate conflicts and manage customer suspensions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and submit cases to the Rental Dispute Center and Legal Affairs Department.
• Liaise with the Legal Office and other units for escalations, arbitration, or litigation.
• Coordinate actions following court orders, including unlocking premises, asset disposal, and auctioning.
• Oversee internal and external communications with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage the team’s daily operations and ensure proper record‑keeping and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law with a valid legal license.
• Proven experience in dispute resolution, legal affairs, or litigation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws, regulations, and dispute‑resolution procedures.
• Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
