Assistant Manager – Finance Control (Real Estate)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Finance Control will support the Real Estate division’s financial controlling function, ensuring robust governance, accurate reporting and effective control processes. The role combines traditional finance responsibilities with the drive to embed digital and AI‑enabled solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and business excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Review trial balances, balance‑sheet reconciliations and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to management.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and ensure adherence to accounting policies, SOPs and internal controls.
• Prepare for audits, resolve control or compliance issues promptly.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities, develop dashboards and management‑reporting tools.
• Leverage data‑analytics and AI solutions to enhance reporting and decision‑making.
• Lead finance improvement projects, drive process optimisation and support transformation programmes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement strategic finance initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant finance or accounting qualification.
• Proven experience in financial controlling, reporting and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, internal controls and audit requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and lead improvement projects.
