Assistant Manager – Finance Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join Dubai Holding Entertainment as an Assistant Manager – Finance Operations. This key business partnering role will oversee finance operations, strengthen governance, and provide insightful analysis to support strategic decisions across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance business partner, delivering financial insights, performance analysis and recommendations to operational leaders.
• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across the organisation.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, receivable and tax activities in collaboration with shared services.
• Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Manage working capital, cash flow and liquidity to meet operational and strategic needs.
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts and business reviews to senior stakeholders.
• Evaluate business initiatives and investments with robust financial analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, digital transformation and AI‑enabled tools.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, tax requirements, internal controls and corporate governance.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and professional qualification (CA or ACCA).
• At least 8 years of progressive finance experience in a large corporate environment, preferably with Big Four exposure.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.
• Hands‑on experience managing VAT compliance and finance operations in a complex business.
• Experience in hospitality, leisure, entertainment or media sectors is a plus.
