Assistant Manager — Forensic, Ethics & Compliance

About the role

KPMG's Forensic practice is expanding its Ethics & Compliance capability in the UAE. As an Assistant Manager you will lead the delivery of high‑impact ethics and compliance solutions, own workstreams and engagements, and mentor junior team members. This role sits at the front line of compliance transformation, investigations and risk management for a client‑facing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of compliance frameworks, investigations, risk assessments and due‑diligence engagements, ensuring regulatory standards and client expectations are met.
• Own day‑to‑day engagement management, including planning, budgeting, quality control and timelines, while supervising Senior Consultants and junior staff.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant regulations and industry trends, acting as a reference point for the team.
• Identify business development opportunities, contribute to proposals and participate in client pitches.

Required profile

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Forensic, Ethics & Compliance, or Risk Management, preferably in consulting, advisory or regulated industries.
• Proven experience managing workstreams or engagements and leading junior team members.
• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, investigation methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFE, CCEP, ICA) are an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
• Sector exposure to energy / oil & gas is desirable.
