Assistant Manager – Human Capital (Marsa Al Arab)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Human Capital will support HR operations at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, overseeing recruitment, employee relations and colleague services. Reporting to senior HR leadership, the role ensures accurate HR data, smooth onboarding and a positive colleague experience across the resort and residential community.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HR records, HRIS data and workforce planning tools to enable effective workforce management.
• Lead recruitment activities for positions up to middle‑management level, handling candidate screening, interviewing and selection.
• Manage colleague welfare programmes, including accommodation arrangements, clinic operations and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support employee relations by conducting exit interviews, providing coaching and counseling, and assisting managers with investigations and disciplinary matters.
• Liaise with government authorities to process employment documentation, licences, permits and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee colleague services and facilities such as the cafeteria and HR team operations, ensuring high service standards and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma in Hotel Management, Human Resources Management or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in HRM preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations and recruitment practices.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder‑management skills.
