Assistant Manager – Learning & Development

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Learning & Development to support Madinat Jumeirah’s L&D strategy from October 2026. The role will help design, deliver and evaluate learning programmes that align with the Jumeirah vision and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of the Group’s Learning & Development strategy.
• Develop leadership, coaching, mentoring and talent development programmes for high‑potential employees.
• Conduct training needs analysis and contribute to e‑learning, workshops, IDPs and career path initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, prepare reports and share insights with stakeholders.
• Support talent pipeline initiatives such as intern, graduate, national development and pre‑opening training programmes.
• Contribute to L&D projects, budgeting, employee branding and continuous improvement, staying current with industry trends and learning technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management or a related field; CIPD or similar qualification is desirable.
• Strong business‑level English, both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Analytical and project‑management skills with the ability to translate data into action plans.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint and MS Visio.
• Experience with engagement‑survey platforms and tools such as Axonify, Adobe, SurveyMonkey or QR‑Code generators.
