Assistant Manager - Product

About the role

R&B Fashion is hiring an Assistant Manager - Product in Dubai. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, turning business requirements into product roadmaps and leading software implementation programs across multiple retail locations and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and product roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
• Lead software implementation programs from concept to deployment, on time and on budget.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML technologies, APIs and third-party solutions, and make build vs. buy decisions.
• Manage the product lifecycle: market research, success metrics, requirements gathering, feature prioritisation and ROI measurement.
• Promote adoption of new solutions, create change management strategies and provide training and documentation.
• Mitigate technical risks, troubleshoot implementation issues and coordinate with support teams.
• Monitor AI, retail technology and digital transformation trends and share insights with leadership.

Required profile

• 2+ years in product management, technical product management or solutions engineering.
• 4+ years building, architecting or deploying AI/ML solutions in production.
• 2+ years leading enterprise software implementations, preferably in retail, e-commerce or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience with retail processes such as merchandising, inventory, POS systems, supply chain and customer analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Required skills

• Machine learning concepts, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Claude and Chat GPT to automate workflows and build agents.
• PMP, Agile or Scrum certification.
