Assistant Manager – Public Area

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Public Area will support the Public Area team at Wynn Al Marjan Island, ensuring that all public spaces meet the resort’s high standards of cleanliness, maintenance and guest experience. This role combines operational oversight, staff leadership and guest service in a fast‑paced, five‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning and night‑time upkeep of all public areas, including gaming zones, lobbies, restrooms, shopping arcade, banquet rooms, pool areas and exterior spaces.
• Conduct inspections, monitor quality control, and lead special projects such as deep cleaning, chandelier polishing and marble restoration.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, overtime, training plans and performance coaching.
• Coordinate with Property Operations to resolve maintenance issues and ensure health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Handle guest requests and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and follow‑up.

Required profile

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Minimum 4 years supervisory experience and 6 years public‑area/housekeeping experience in a large five‑star hotel or integrated resort.
• Proven leadership, organizational and customer‑focus abilities.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
