Assistant Manager - Signage & Branding

About the role

Ultimate HR Solutions is recruiting an Assistant Manager for Signage & Branding for a prestigious, well-established organization in the UAE. The role reviews and manages building signage, advertising displays, project branding, wayfinding systems and naming approvals, ensuring compliance with design guidelines, regulations and branding standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess building signage, retail signage, advertising displays, banners, hoardings and promotional installations, including size, placement, materials, lighting and visibility.
• Assess project branding, naming applications, visual identities and marketing signage.
• Review and process signage approval applications and related permits or NOCs, and maintain approval records, technical reviews and compliance documents.
• Support the development of signage policies, branding guidelines and approval procedures.
• Coordinate with marketing, commercial, development, design and asset management teams, and liaise with government authorities, developers, consultants, architects, contractors and branding agencies.
• Coordinate signage inspections, follow up on compliance issues and corrective actions, and help identify and control unauthorized signage.
• Recommend process improvements, digital workflows and automation to improve approval efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, Graphic Design, Branding & Marketing, Landscape Architecture, Design Management or a related field.
• 7-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in signage review, development control, urban design, branding compliance, advertising approvals or a related field.
• Experience working with developers, government authorities, consultants or branding agencies.
• Preferred: experience in policy development, governance and approval management.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Development Control Regulations, Urban Design Guidelines, building and marketing signage policies, outdoor advertising requirements and branding/naming standards.
• Signage and branding review, design assessment and regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholder coordination, technical report writing, process improvement and automation.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and quality assurance.
