Assistant Manager - Strategic Planning & Analysis

About the role

Step into the Assistant Manager – Strategic Planning & Analysis position at Dubai Holding Entertainment. You will turn business and operational data into actionable insights that support planning, performance improvement, and informed decision‑making across a diverse entertainment portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc performance reports, management packs, variance commentary and executive insight materials.
• Analyse revenue, attendance, spend per head, F&B, retail and ancillary revenue to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support annual budgets, forecasts and long‑range plans, maintaining driver‑based assumptions and investigating deviations.
• Build financial and operational models linking attendance, revenue and commercial drivers.
• Develop and enhance Power BI reports, visualisations and analytical views using approved datasets.
• Identify opportunities to digitalise manual reports, support user‑acceptance testing and drive adoption of reporting solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, strategic planning, business performance or commercial finance.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to communicate insights clearly.
• Proactive attitude, collaborative approach and interest in reporting automation and digitalisation.

• Advanced Excel for financial modelling and data analysis.
• Power BI for report creation, visualisation and dashboard enhancements.
• PowerPoint for concise, decision‑focused presentations.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Data validation, reconciliation and data storytelling.
