Assistant Marketing Manager

About the role

The Assistant Marketing Manager supports the Director of Marketing & Communications in elevating the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre’s brand presence. This role drives integrated marketing, public relations, digital initiatives and strategic communications to strengthen brand awareness and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director in coordinating integrated marketing and communication activities across all channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with marketing suppliers, media partners and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate production of sales proposals, collateral, newsletters, brochures and other promotional materials.
• Oversee execution of campaigns via direct mail, email marketing, public relations and digital channels.
• Track campaign performance, prepare analysis reports and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Develop standardized presentations, sales scripts and proposals.
• Manage content updates and monthly newsletters for Food & Beverage venues.
• Maintain project‑management systems to document and monitor marketing activities.
• Plan and execute public‑relations activities, including media visits, photo/video shoots and editorial content.
• Write, edit and proofread press releases, editorials, photo captions and fact sheets.
• Liaise with Commercial teams (Sales, Revenue, Reservations) to ensure alignment.
• Maintain media database, prepare monthly coverage reports and respond to media enquiries.
• Lead the hotel’s annual awards strategy, researching and preparing award submissions.
• Collaborate with Graphic Design & Social Media Executive on daily social media activities and campaigns.
• Support the Digital Marketing Manager in managing paid social media initiatives.
