Assistant Night Manager

About the role

The Assistant Night Manager supports the night operations of a Luxury Collection hotel in Dubai. This role ensures smooth guest check‑ins, accurate billing, and timely resolution of guest requests during the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys while maintaining accurate guest accounts.
• Handle all payment types, vouchers, cash‑outs and balance receipts; secure cash at the start and end of the shift.
• Compile and review daily reports, cashier and closing logs, and communicate any exceptions or security incidents to Loss Prevention.
• Assist guests with directions, property information, special requests and accessibility needs, coordinating with other departments as required.
• Support management in training, coaching and evaluating staff, and act as the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems and basic computer operations.
• Cash handling and receipt reconciliation.
