About the role
The Assistant Nurse will provide and coordinate patient‑centric, evidence‑based nursing care in the Maternity Ward, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role focuses on delivering safe, high‑quality care while supporting a positive patient experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, collaborating with the multi‑professional team in line with clinical standards and legislation.
- Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing, and managing risks according to MCME risk policies and relevant legislation.
- Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership.
- Contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence.
- Provide and coordinate patient‑centric, evidence‑based nursing care while complying with ethical and professional standards.
Required profile
- Nursing Diploma (essential).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Maternity Ward.
- Willingness to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
