Assistant Physiotherapist

About the role

The Assistant Physiotherapist provides physiotherapy services under the direct supervision of senior therapists, following established treatment plans. The role supports patient care across a range of modalities while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physiotherapy services according to prescribed care plans, including assessments and treatment execution.
• Assist physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other staff during clinical procedures.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments (vital signs, ROM, pain scores, GCS) and develop individualized care plans.
• Apply appropriate physiotherapy modalities such as TENS, ultrasound, therapeutic exercises, and gait training following prescribed frequency and duration.
• Maintain equipment safety, conduct calibration checks, and manage inventory of physiotherapy supplies.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy.
• Current professional license in the UAE (DHA) or country of origin.
• Minimum two years post‑certification experience as a Junior Physiotherapist or Physical Therapist.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
