Assistant Professor in Psychology

About the role

The College of Humanities and Sciences at Ajman University is seeking an Assistant Professor in Psychology to start in the Spring semester of the 2026‑2027 academic year. This full‑time faculty position focuses on teaching, research, and service within the university community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver psychology courses, aligning with the university’s standards of teaching, research, and service.
• Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and support student success.
• Conduct research, publish in Scopus‑indexed journals, and manage instructional resources and course outlines.
• Participate in accreditation initiatives and collaborate with community networks.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the department.

Required profile

• PhD from an accredited university in the United Arab Emirates.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in an academic institution using the credit‑hour system.
• Published research papers in journals indexed in global databases such as Scopus.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.

• Knowledge of computerized student information systems and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
