Assistant Professor of Accounting (Full‑Time)

About the role

Abu Dhabi University’s College of Business is seeking a full‑time Assistant Professor of Accounting to join its faculty for the academic year 2025/26. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate accounting courses, conducting high‑quality research, and contributing to academic service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting and related subjects.
• Develop and maintain an active research agenda leading to publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Supervise student projects, internships, and theses.
• Participate in curriculum development and ensure alignment with accreditation standards.
• Engage in departmental, college and university committees and initiatives.
• Foster industry collaborations and support outreach activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Accounting or a closely related field from an internationally recognised university.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in accredited higher‑education institutions.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong research record.
• Experience in curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.
• Professional accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) are desirable.
