Assistant Professor of Education in Educational Leadership

About the role

Abu Dhabi University is looking for an Assistant Professor of Education specializing in Educational Leadership to join its College of Arts, Education & Social Sciences. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, contribute to research, and support the university’s mission of academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver learner‑centred instruction for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in education and leadership.
• Develop and update curricula, assessment tools and instructional materials.
• Lead research initiatives in educational technologies, AI or related fields and publish findings.
• Coordinate academic programmes and supervise student projects.
• Participate in departmental and university committees, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching at the university level.
• Strong record of scholarly research and publications.
• Commitment to the university’s vision, values and community engagement.

Required skills

• Expertise in educational leadership theory and practice.
• Familiarity with educational technologies and artificial intelligence applications in learning.
• Ability to design and implement learner‑centred pedagogies.
