About the role

The Department of International Affairs and Social Sciences at Zayed University is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor rank or higher to teach and conduct research in History and related disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses on world history, 20th‑century history, and UAE/Middle East/Gulf history.
• Engage in scholarly research and publish peer‑reviewed work.
• Integrate web‑based and digital technologies into classroom instruction.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in History or a related discipline, recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.
• Proven record of excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Demonstrated research achievements with peer‑reviewed publications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with web‑based teaching platforms.
• Experience using digital classroom technology.
