Assistant Project Manager – Urbanism & Planning

About the role

We are seeking an organized and detail‑oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our urbanism and planning team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pre‑contract phase role you will support senior project managers by handling documentation, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with planning regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers in feasibility studies, site analysis and preliminary planning assessments.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as meeting minutes, progress reports and compliance checklists.
• Analyze urban planning requirements and zoning regulations to align projects with local and emirate‑level guidelines.
• Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, consultants and government authorities.
• Support development of timelines, budgets and resource allocation for pre‑contract deliverables.
• Organise and track vendor and consultant submissions, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Research market conditions, comparable projects and planning precedents to inform strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination or project‑management support, preferably in urbanism, planning or real‑estate development.
• Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, zoning regulations and development processes.
• Proficiency with project‑management software and tools.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
