Assistant Project Surveyor – Measurement

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Assistant Project Surveyor – Measurement to join our growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role you will support senior quantity surveyors by preparing accurate measurements, cost estimates and documentation for construction projects, ensuring profitability and contractual compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Measure quantities for inclusion in cost plans, estimates and bills of quantities.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and the development of cost estimates.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of cost‑control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in the preparation, pricing and negotiation of change orders with clients and contractors.
• Analyse tender returns and conduct market testing to support rate benchmarking.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support project reporting and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience in a measurement centre or estimating department.
• Working towards or holding a BSc in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or an equivalent accredited qualification.
• Higher National Diploma or equivalent will be considered.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a structured training environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with quantity surveying software.
• Experience using BIM and other digital tools.
• Ability to produce accurate measurements and cost estimates.
