Assistant Resident Engineer - Site

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Assistant Resident Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Working alongside the Resident Engineer, you will oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with project specifications, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety on site.

Key responsibilities

• Daily site supervision and monitoring of construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections, document findings, and perform quality checks and compliance verification.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, and photographic records.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve site‑related issues.
• Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Monitor and enforce site safety protocols, ensuring all personnel comply with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in project scheduling, progress tracking, and identification of potential delays or risks.
