Assistant Revenue Manager

About the role

Fairmont Dubai, part of Accor, is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Revenue Manager to support its Revenue Management department. The role works closely with the Director of Revenue to develop and implement revenue strategies, optimise pricing, analyse market trends and maximise revenue across the hotel's operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse revenue data and market trends to support pricing and inventory decisions
• Assist in developing and monitoring revenue forecasts and budgets
• Prepare detailed reports on revenue performance, occupancy rates and market analysis
• Monitor competitor pricing and market conditions to inform strategic recommendations
• Support the implementation of revenue management strategies and initiatives
• Maintain and update revenue management systems and databases
• Coordinate with other departments to align with revenue objectives
• Carry out financial analysis and modelling to find revenue optimisation opportunities
• Help create presentations and documentation for management review
• Develop pricing strategies based on demand patterns and market conditions
• Ensure compliance with revenue management policies and take part in revenue management meetings

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in revenue management, financial analysis or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail in financial reporting
• Good written and verbal communication and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Team player; understanding of hospitality or business operations preferred
• Eligibility to live and work in the UAE; the employer assists with the visa process and provides flights and accommodation

Required skills

• Proficiency with revenue management systems and property management software
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and financial modelling
• Data visualization and analytics tools
• Pricing strategies, revenue optimization, competitive analysis, forecasting and knowledge of the Dubai/UAE market preferred
