Assistant Sales Manager – Agro Commodities

About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager will support the growth of the commodities business covering nuts & dried fruits, spices, dairy and other agro commodities. Working closely with the Senior Sales Manager, the role focuses on developing customer relationships, driving sales, identifying trading opportunities and meeting revenue and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted sales and income for the assigned territory.
• Manage existing customers and develop new market opportunities.
• Visit customers regularly to understand and meet their requirements.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure timely product delivery.
• Prepare sales forecasts, business reports and market intelligence updates.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs and exhibitions.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• 1‑3 years of sales experience in agro commodities, nuts & dried fruits or dairy trading.
• Reasonable understanding of the sales process.
• Good English and Arabic communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and customer‑orientation.
• Willingness to travel extensively in the market.
