Assistant Sales Manager – Dubai

About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales & Marketing team at Marriott Dubai by handling guest inquiries, processing reservations, and applying sales techniques to maximise revenue. This position combines front‑office duties with guest‑service excellence, ensuring loyalty and brand awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest calls, emails and requests, resolving issues and providing information.
• Apply up‑selling and other sales techniques to increase revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
• Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations via phone, fax or mail, and enter Marriott Rewards data into the system.
• Handle complimentary gifts such as reward points, tickets or certificates for guest patronage.
• Perform general office duties for Sales & Marketing, including filing, typing, faxing and email correspondence.
• Support management in training and motivating staff, acting as a role model.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience, preferably in hospitality or sales support.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality and adherence to company policies.
