Assistant Sous Chef – Main Kitchen

About the role

The JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is seeking an Assistant Sous Chef for its main kitchen. You will support the culinary team in delivering high‑quality dishes while maintaining the hotel’s standards of service and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring proper food presentation, portioning and garnish.
• Monitor food preparation quantities, stock levels, and maintain kitchen logs for food safety.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security and company policies, and address guest service needs.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• 4–6 years of related kitchen experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
