Assistant Store Manager – Retail

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in driving sales, profitability and customer satisfaction at Toys "R" Us Yas Mall. This role combines operational oversight, people development and visual merchandising to ensure the store meets performance targets while delivering an excellent shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales, payroll, shrink and conversion targets through effective planning and execution.
• Control inventory, manage stock movements, and enforce loss‑prevention measures.
• Recruit, train, coach and retain a high‑performing team, conducting weekly meetings and daily briefings.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, promotional displays and store cleanliness.
• Deliver consistent, high‑quality customer service on the selling floor.
