Assistant Store Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering excellent customer service and driving sales in our apparel store.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the highest levels of customer service and provide staff with the skills and support needed to maximise sales.
• Assist the Store Manager in efficient and profitable store operations in line with company policies and procedures.
• Take full store responsibility in the manager’s absence, including visual merchandising, security vigilance and audit of store administration.
• Manage the daily roster, leave requests and employee grievances while maintaining accurate store records.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to increase repeat sales and customer loyalty.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product, trend and brand knowledge to enable effective suggestive selling.

Required profile

• Fashion‑forward, well‑groomed and knowledgeable about current trends and product lines.
• Physically fit to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.
• Strong organisational abilities to manage scheduling, audits and grievance processes.
• Ability to enforce brand policies and ensure staff compliance with company procedures.
