Assistant Talent Acquisition Manager - Luxury Hotel

About the role

A luxury 5-star hotel is looking for an Assistant Talent Acquisition Manager to run the full recruitment and onboarding process independently. The role covers manpower requisition, sourcing, selection, offer management, pre-employment formalities and onboarding, and calls for strong stakeholder management and the ability to handle several vacancies at once.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from approved requisition to candidate onboarding.
• Partner with department heads and hiring managers on requirements, job profiles and priorities.
• Post vacancies on ATS, job portals, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Sourcing candidates through direct sourcing, talent pools, referrals, agencies, social media and more.
• Conduct HR interviews and competency assessments, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
• Handle reference checks, background verification and pre-employment documentation.
• Own onboarding from offer acceptance to joining, including induction schedules, welcome arrangements and orientation.
• Support recruitment campaigns, career fairs, open days and university recruitment.
• Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, hospitality schools and universities.
• Improve recruitment and onboarding processes and the candidate experience.

Required profile

• 4-6 years in Talent Acquisition, preferably in a luxury 5-star hotel or high-end hospitality setting.
• Proven independent end-to-end recruitment and onboarding experience.
• Experience recruiting at operational, supervisory and management levels.
• Experience with recruitment agencies and external partners.

Required skills

• Strong sourcing using LinkedIn, job portals, ATS platforms and databases.
• Interviewing, assessment, negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of recruitment processes, employment documentation and onboarding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, confidentiality and professionalism.
