Assistant Team Leader

About the role

As an Assistant Team Leader at Rakbank you will drive new business acquisition, manage customer relationships and promote Personal Banking products through corporate partnerships and direct sales channels. You will also support the Team Leader in coordinating sales activities and achieving revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and drive the sales of Personal Banking products—including Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Payroll Accounts and other cross‑sell items—within the assigned region and target markets.
• Achieve budgeted sales targets for both primary and secondary products in line with approved business plans and budgets.
• Conduct sales promotions, corporate presentations, group meetings, roadshows and customer‑engagement activities to maximise business acquisition.
• Ensure strict adherence to all applicable compliance, CPF, regulatory and internal policy requirements when dealing with customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings and sales practices, providing recommendations to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Act as a delegate for the Team Leader during their absence, maintaining day‑to‑day sales operations and team performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a specialist within banking, financial services or collections, managing campaigns across credit cards, personal loans, auto loans or mortgages.
• Experience working in a regulated environment with exposure to compliance and audit requirements; UAE or GCC banking experience is an advantage.
