Assistant Vice President - Events

About the role

The Assistant Vice President – Events will lead the planning and execution of comprehensive events, promotional activities and experiences that support Aldar Development’s new project launches and broader business objectives. The role bridges downstream marketing tactics with event delivery to reinforce brand positioning and drive demand across target customer segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short‑ and long‑term event strategies that build value‑based customer relationships and support Aldar Development’s objectives.
• Create and manage event concepts, design, budgets, timelines and success measurement tools.
• Oversee all phases of event execution, including planning, marketing, servicing and administrative procedures, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
• Forecast, monitor and control event expenses to stay within approved budgets.
• Promote events through digital media, promotional campaigns and collaborate with the communications team for media and PR leverage.
• Evaluate event performance using post‑event surveys and other metrics to ensure high‑quality customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive marketing and events experience, preferably within the real‑estate sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or Finance; MBA preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering complex real‑estate product launches and managing large‑scale events.
• Strong ability to influence cross‑functional teams without formal authority.
