Assistant Vice President, Financial Operations

About the role

The Assistant Vice President – Financial Operations will lead the preparation and analysis of financial performance across multiple divisions, supporting senior management and the Board of Directors. This senior role combines financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and strategic forecasting within a real‑estate and hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual presentations for management and the Board, focusing on variance analysis and key performance drivers.
• Review General Ledgers and supporting schedules for accuracy and IFRS compliance.
• Maintain the Chart of Accounts, map accounts and produce Excel and PowerPoint financial models covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and capex.
• Develop quarterly, bi‑annual and annual cash‑flow and profit‑and‑loss forecasts in collaboration with business units.
• Coordinate with AP/AR teams for month‑end closing, reconciliations and issue resolution.
• Engage with external and internal auditors, addressing audit observations and preparing accounting memos.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial accounting, FP&A, audit and management accounting, preferably within real‑estate, mall management or hospitality.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA, CA, ACCA) – full or partial.
• Hands‑on experience preparing complete IFRS financial statements for large entities.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and International Accounting Standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and chart‑of‑accounts management.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint modeling capabilities.
• Financial statement preparation and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Audit coordination and preparation of accounting memos.
