Assistant Vice President – Infrastructure

About the role

The Assistant Vice President – Infrastructure will lead horizontal design activities for infrastructure across multiple developments, ensuring compliance with authority standards and supporting the Vice President – Infrastructure and the wider Projects team on high‑profile, country‑leading projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve utility and road service designs against approved master plans.
• Manage infrastructure design activities to meet value propositions and authority requirements (ADDC, Tabreed, ADM).
• Coordinate with Project Procurement to prepare claims for reimbursement and develop project scopes.
• Oversee third‑party consultants, contractors and PMC to ensure drawing submittals align with Aldar specifications.
• Prepare engineering analysis reports, plans, specifications and review contractor submittals.
• Identify cost‑saving and time‑saving opportunities and provide value‑engineering recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (post‑graduate degree preferred).
• Minimum 13 years of infrastructure design experience in a design consultancy, property development firm or PMC, preferably in the GCC.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or lead role overseeing design teams and third‑party partners.
• Proven track record on complex infrastructure projects in the Middle East and strong knowledge of local authority standards.
