Assistant Vice President – Operations Support Services

About the role

Emirates Flight Catering is seeking an accomplished operations leader to serve as Assistant Vice President – Operations Support Services. The role will drive transformation of airside and flight‑preparation operations through digitalisation, automation and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Support Services strategy for airside operations and flight preparation.
• Lead large‑scale digitalisation, automation and operational‑excellence programmes.
• Transform galley load planning, equipment inventory and catering order distribution processes.
• Use advanced analytics to inform operational and strategic decisions.
• Strengthen safety, compliance and risk management via technology and improved processes.
• Improve efficiency and accuracy of administration, communication and billing.
• Build digital capability and support leadership development across the operation.
• Lead organisational change and embed new ways of working in complex environments.
• Develop strong relationships with airline customers, internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing senior team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of operations management experience, including senior leadership in airline catering or a comparable environment.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale operational transformation and digital integration programmes.
• Strong strategic planning, project management and operational‑excellence capabilities.
• Commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting and resource optimisation.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders and airline customers.
