Assistant Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a 5‑star luxury hotel in Dubai. You will deliver friendly, courteous, and professional service while supporting the head waiter in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and check tables before service, ensuring they meet hotel standards.
• Support the head waiter with mise en place, table resetting, and service preparation.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests according to company procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with management regarding operational updates and guest feedback.
• Complete opening and closing procedures, including cleaning duties within allocated times.
• Set up and maintain stations, service areas, and tables according to hotel/restaurant standards.
• Present dishes and drinks to guests in line with brand presentation guidelines.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items and respond to guest inquiries.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in a public‑contact role, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle hotel.
• Gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor with strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented mindset, capable of working independently and collaborating across departments.
