Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Accounting (DBS)

About the role

Dubai Business School at the University of Dubai invites applications for the position of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Accounting, with an anticipated start date in Spring or Fall 2026. Dubai Business School (DBS) is AACSB‑accredited and focuses on integrating digital transformation, innovation, sustainability and ethical leadership into its BBA, MBA and PhD programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an active and productive research agenda.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting as assigned each academic year.
• Supervise and mentor students and contribute to student recruitment activities.
• Participate in school and university service activities.
• Initiate and develop projects aligned with the University of Dubai’s vision and strategic priorities.
• Undertake other academic and professional duties consistent with the role.

Required profile

• A Doctorate (PhD) from an accredited institution at the time of appointment.
• Demonstrated record of high‑quality research publications and teaching excellence in Accounting.
• Practical or industry experience relevant to the discipline is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
