Assistant/Associate/Professor in Finance & Islamic Finance

About the role

The University in Dubai is expanding rapidly and seeks qualified academics to join its Finance department. The position is open at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, focusing on Finance and Islamic Finance education and research.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses using blended learning methods.
• Maintain an active research agenda and publish in reputable journals.
• Develop and update online curricula and course materials.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Design and deliver professional short courses for external audiences.
• Perform administrative duties as required by the department.

Required profile

• PhD degree from an AACSB‑accredited university in a finance‑related discipline.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at an internationally accredited university.
• Experience with online or e‑learning environments is preferred.
• Proven ability to integrate computer technology into teaching.
• Fluent English communication skills.
